With regards to all of the following, when told to send mail to listproc interpret this as sending mail to listproc@listproc.hcf.jhu.edu.
In other words, for anything but messages intended to be read by all subscribers to the mailing list, this is where you send your messages, and NOT, NOT, NOT to tolkien@jhu.edu, or tolkien@listproc.hcf.jhu.edu.
For a copy of this message, watch the list, as it is posted about every two months. It can also be found on the web site http://www.tolkienlist.net as well as at the ftp site ftp.ii.uib.no.
For more information on this, see the section on accessing the archives, further on. The file can also be downloaded by sending a message to the listproc with one of the lines
review tolkien description
review tolkien
in the body of the message.
For more information on each of the commands listed in this file, send a mail to the listproc with the word

in the body of the message. It is also possible to get more information on one specific command by sending a message to the listproc with the words

in the body of the message.
